Reservations

Food Sense Inc. agrees to provide the services specified below to (client or organization name) on the (date of event). The event will be held at (physical location; i.e, example, Smith residence, physical address or SWVAHEC in the Grand Ballroom) from (scheduled time, example from 10-2pm).

Terms of Agreement

Food Sense Inc. requires a deposit of 25% of the estimated event charges 7 days prior to the event. The estimated charges will be approximately _____________; the required deposit is ____________. All food, rentals, and deliveries are subject to local and state sales tax. Final payment is due at the end of the event.

We provide our clients with party planners, limo services, light specialists, photographers, DJ’s, live entertainment, decorations, all rentals, sommeliers + much more.

We accept all major credit cards, cash and personal checks.

Service Charges

Food Sense Catering will add an 20% Service Charge to your final bill to cover the cost of labor during the event. We offer decorating services for an additional charge. The additional charges will be discussed upon the order for the event.

Drop Offs – Chicago & Suburbs

Drop Offs are based upon availability. Please calculate your mileage based on Mapquest or Google Maps:

  • A drop off fee of $15.00 will be charged for any delivery within a ten (10) mile radius.
  • A drop off fee of $35.00 will be charged for any delivery between ten (10) – Thirty (30) mile radius.

Changes

Changes to your event must be made in writing via email ; changes during the event may incur additional charges. Food Sense Inc. reserves the right to bill those charges by separate invoice after the event. Payment on additional charges will be due no later than 5 business days after billing.

Guarantees

The number of guests confirmed for an event is referred to as a Guarantee. Your guaranteed number of guests must be submitted to us no later than five days prior to the event. The guaranteed number cannot be decreased, since food has already been ordered and, in some cases, preparations begun. You may add to the number of guests up to 48 hours before the event. Your total event price will fluctuate based on guest count.

Service Restrictions

While the Management and Staff of Food Sense Inc. prepare for and expect each event to be a pleasant experience, both the Client and his/her guests should be aware that during the course of service and normal activity, there are practices and procedures that require safety, adult protocol and general polite etiquette. The Client assumes all liability for any damages including, but not limited to spillage, breakage, or physical injury which are deliberately or inadvertently inflicted upon other guests or on Food Sense Inc. by the persons present at his event.

Food Sense Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to or terminate the service of any group or individual whose conduct is deemed inappropriate or potentially injurious to other guests or to the professional reputation of Food Sense Inc.
Due to Health Regulations, no food may be brought in to an event by any client without prior approval by Food Sense Inc.
